By accessing daddiesboardshops.com or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. We’ve tried to keep this straightforward and respectful of your time, just like we respect the concrete.

1. Who We Are & Our Vibe

DADDIES Skate Gear is a skate shop born from concrete and built for the global skateboarding community. We operate from our shop in Hamilton, Canada, and ship worldwide (except to Asia and certain remote areas). Our website reflects our core values: authenticity, quality, and community support.

Target Community: Our gear is built for skateboarders of all levels—from street skaters and cruiser riders to those building custom setups. Our product range (decks, trucks, bearings, apparel, accessories) and our tone are tailored for enthusiasts who value performance, style, and reliability.

2. Your Responsibilities as a User

By using our site, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or placing an order.
• Use the website only for lawful purposes and not attempt to interfere with its security or functionality.
• Be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Ensure you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to form a binding contract, or have parental/guardian consent.
• Comply with all applicable local laws regarding the purchase and use of skateboarding equipment.

3. Products & Service Description

We sell skateboarding hardware and apparel:

• Hardware: Decks, trucks, wheels, bearings, bushings, grip tape, tools, and maintenance products.
• Completes & Cruisers: Pre-assembled boards and cruiser setups.
• Apparel & Accessories: Beanies, hats, backpacks, bags, belts, and other skate-inspired clothing.

Product Limitations: Some items (like bearings, bushings, and apparel) have specific return restrictions due to performance, safety, or hygiene reasons. Always double-check specifications (like truck size or bushing durometer) before ordering.

We strive to display product colors and details accurately, but slight variations may occur due to screen settings or manufacturing batches.

4. Orders & Payment Terms

Placing an Order

When you place an order, you’re making an offer to purchase goods under these Terms. We’ll send an order confirmation email—this is our acceptance of your offer and the creation of a contract.

Pricing & Payment

• All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
• We accept: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal.
• All payments are processed securely with bank-level encryption. We never store your full financial details.
• You are responsible for any currency conversion fees your bank or payment provider may charge.

Shipping & Delivery

• Processing: Orders are processed and shipped from Hamilton, Canada within 1-2 business days.
• Shipping Options:
  • Standard Shipping (DHL/FedEx): $12.95 CAD. Delivery within 10-15 business days after shipment.
  • Free Shipping (EMS): For orders over $50 CAD. Delivery within 15-25 business days after shipment.
• International Orders (Outside Canada): We ship worldwide except Asia and certain remote areas. You are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees charged by your country. These are not included in our prices or shipping costs.
• Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs, weather, or carrier delays.

5. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Our goal is your satisfaction. Here’s our straightforward policy:

Eligibility

• Window: You have 15 days from the delivery date to initiate a return or exchange.
• Condition: Items must be unused, unassembled, and in original packaging with all tags and protective stickers attached.
• Proof: Provide your order number or receipt.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene, we cannot accept returns on the following unless defective:

• Beanies, hats, and apparel (due to personal nature).
• Bearings and bearing lube/cleaner (once opened).
• Bushings (experience immediate wear once installed).
• Any opened or used product showing signs of assembly, riding, or wear.
• Custom or final sale items (clearly marked).

Process & Costs

• Return Shipping: Paid by you, unless we made an error (wrong or defective item).
• Refund Timing: Issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
• Original Shipping Fees: Non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
• International Returns: You are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs duties on returned goods. Mark packages as “RETURNED GOODS” on customs forms.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged product, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos/video and your order number. We’ll arrange a prepaid return label if needed and get you a replacement or refund ASAP.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including logos, graphics, text, product designs, and the name “DADDIES Skate Gear”—is our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Skateboarding is about creativity—please respect ours.

7. Limitation of Liability

Skateboarding is inherently risky. Our products are designed for skateboarding use, but we cannot be held liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from their use. By purchasing and using our gear, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with skateboarding.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DADDIES Skate Gear shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or products.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as we grow and improve. The “Last Updated” date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hamilton, Ontario.
